If this is the case then I have some good news and bad news for you, firstly the Callaway Edge Irons are not available to purchase as an iron set, but secondly the Irons are included in the Callaway Edge 10-piece golf club set. Again, this is very hard to come by and Callaway for some reason have gone out of their way to make these golf clubs almost unattainable and for good reason.

The amount of forgiveness this set of golf clubs offer is perfect for beginner golfers and they have been labelled as 'game improvement clubs'. This not quite a complete set of Golf Clubs even though it includes a Titanium Driver to the Odyssey putters, a side note though is the set does not come with a golf bag. Which gives you more opportunity to get your own and feel like you can customise your look and tailor it to you.

Callaway Edge Driver
So included in this set is a Titanium headed 460cc Driver. For a beginner this would be an epic driver to have straight off the mark. A titanium head is great for beginners as it has a larger sweet spot than more developed drivers, this will give beginners more confidence as the driver is a lot more forgiving than other models.
The look of this driver is very unique with its matte finish and small subtle green undertones which gives this driver a detailed edge. The graphite shaft is made for slower swing speeds as it gives you more control over the flight path of the golf ball.

By replacing the hard to hit clubs with some more forgiving hybrid irons with a great launch angles, Callaway are trying to ensure that any beginners who pick up this Callaway edge golf club set can get a good solid hit with all clubs.

From the large cavity backs to the polished chrome finish these are a set of incredibly good-looking golf irons. As with the theme of the rest of this Callaway Edge golf set, you will be surprised at the amount of forgiveness that the great clubs offer you. If you end up hitting a bad shot, you will not be penalised too much and the off-centre hits will not surge through your hands like an electric shock.
So, this set includes a 9,8,7 and 6 iron and a pitching wedge and a sand wedge all steel shafts and cavity back-irons. The pitching wedge and sand wedge are just as forgiving and just as well made as the rest of the irons. Allowing a beginner to play every shot that a golfer would need from their irons but with minimal setbacks.
These irons are a great investment and the quality you get means these are excellent value, the fact they are available with a range of clubs that are just as exciting and forgiving it puts it at the top of the great golf club sets list and at a very reasonable price.
All in all the irons are the winner out of this golf club set and will be one of the best investments a beginner golfer can make if they want to improve their game or have little wiggle room in terms of performance.

Odyssey White Hot Putter
Now this is a game changer in terms of a golf set, as with everything else included one club really sticks out which is the Odyssey White Hot Putter, this is a top end putter retailing at around £100-£150. The fact that Callaway include this club in their golf set means they really want this set to be the best beginner set around at the right price point.
The added Super Stroke grip which is larger and more substantial than other putters but this gives you the opportunity for a better feel and beginner golfers will really benefit from a larger grip. It helps to reduce rotation in the hands when swinging for the putt.
As one of the areas where beginner golfers struggle is on the green, Callaway has included a very premium putter to ensure you have the best chance of increasing your putting game. This addition alone would be extremely beneficial but mixed with everything else means this is becoming an absolute fantastic golf set.
Summary
So, if you are a beginner golfer or even a higher handicapper golfer then this Callaway Edge Golf Set could be your best option, These are an excellent set of clubs that offer a lot of forgiveness and have a larger sweet spot than most other clubs. The only issue with this set is that a golf bag is not included. This allows for a lot more customisable sets and you can choose your own bag if that’s something that interest you.
The Callaway Edge irons alone are a brilliant set of golf irons and with all the added extras they are a bunch of extremely affordable golf clubs. You will not find such a forgiving premium set at this price, and you will be looking at paying £1000 - £2000 on top of what these cost.
